저절로 미소가 머금어질 수 밖에 없다. 10살짜리가 말하는 사랑에 관한 담론. 첫사랑의 기쁨과 아픔 속에 성장하는 소년 게이브의 뉴욕맨하탄 러브스토리 Little Manhattan.


게이브는 이제 10살 부모는 이혼직전이며, 학교에서는 여자애들과 남자애들 사이에 강철의 장벽이 존재하고 서로를 바이러스처럼 생각하던 시절, 로즈메리를 보고 가슴이 두근 거리기 시작한다. 보면 즐겁고 계속 보고 싶고 같이 있고 싶어진다.... 이쁜 사랑이야기이며 현실적 사랑이야기이기도 하다. 쓸데없이 느끼고 분석할 필요조차 없다. 그냥 영화속 게이브를 따라가면 된다.

그리고 첫사랑을 추억해볼 수 있었다.
